The plugin installs the tracking script and adds the lead source to the notification emails of the popular WordPress form plugins, so you see where each enquiry came from without adding hidden fields.
Install
- Download the plugin from cdn.sourcexray.com/wordpress/sourcexray.zip.
- In WordPress go to Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin, choose the zip file, then Install Now and Activate.
- Open Settings, SourceXray, paste your site key and save.
- Clear your cache plugin (WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, W3 Total Cache or similar) and any server or CDN cache.
- Send a test enquiry and check your inbox for a section called Lead source (SourceXray).
If you already added the script by hand or through Tag Manager, remove it once the plugin is active, so it only loads once.
Supported form plugins
Gravity Forms, Elementor Forms, Contact Form 7, WPForms, Ninja Forms, Fluent Forms, Formidable Forms and Divi contact forms. Every lead from these forms also appears in your SourceXray dashboard.
Extras for Gravity Forms and Contact Form 7
- Gravity Forms: the merge tags
{sx_summary}and{sx_channel}work in notifications and confirmations, and the source shows as columns on entries. - Contact Form 7: use
[_sx_summary]and[_sx_channel]in the mail template to place the source exactly where you want it.
Licence
The plugin is free software under the GPL version 2 or later. It only sends data to SourceXray when a form is submitted, and it never changes your forms' own fields.
Email info@sourcexray.com with your website address and what you tried.
